The broadcast image pans briefly over a somber crowd before coming to rest on a podium in front of the Avance Hall of Houses on Endor. The already hushed crowd falls silent as High Lord Soyak, High Seat of the Avance Coaltion, steps forward and begins to speak.
"It has been one year since one of our beloved own, Dr. Ann Yael Wana-Antaria, was so abruptly taken from us -- dying giving birth to the twins she had so looked forward to greeting. Dr. Wana-Antaria was Chief of Medicine for the Avance Coalition, a founding member of House Asclepius, and a valued friend to us all. For those of us who knew her this loss has not diminished with time, but in our grief we remember those qualities that made her dear to us. Doctor Annie was a kind and generous person who often gave of herself, putting patients before personal conveniences. She could bring a light of joy into a patient's darkest hours.
"We also remember Dr. Wana-Antaria's keen interest in ongoing medical research -- particularly her desire to develop better prosthetic devices to assure a high quality of life for those injured by the many perils our galaxy has to offer. It was with that in mind that two of her closest friends, Ariana Khalil and Dred Oodoov, commissioned the construction of a medical factory space station over Pzob -- a planet Dr. Wana-Antaria had often remarked upon for it's beauty. The station has been posthumously deeded to Dr. Wana-Antaria, and today I have the sorrowful honor of declaring the Ann Yael Medical Research Centre open and functional. We love you Doctor Annie, and we will never forget you."
